Spring is one of our favorite times of year to photograph outdoors – colors are popping as flowers begin to bloom, skies are bright blue, and everything is fresh! As far as we’re concerned, April, May, and June are the best months for fresh, fun colors in outdoor portraits! And you can’t beat the weather – it’s not too hot, bugs aren’t quite out yet, and there are plenty hours of daylight for outdoor sessions!

Springtime brings many reasons to celebrate too! Holidays like Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day… School events like Proms and Graduations… Family events where multiple generations are gathered for the holidays… Celebrate everything, from the mundane and ordinary like just seeing how much your kids have grown since last Spring, to special and extraordinary things like an engagement, anniversary, or birthday, be it their 1st, 5th, a grand quinceanera, someone turning 21, 50, or any other milestone birthday!

If you’ve got a reason to smile, we’ve got a reason to photograph you! Yes, we know you can scroll through an album filled with a thousand moments captured with the camera on your mobile phone. But the joy a portrait brings is so different! Parents and grandparents know best how fleeting these moments truly are and they appreciate having a physical print to frame and display in their home. And whether you print photos from your mobile phone or not, a portrait session is something “more” because the entire purpose of the session is to create print-worthy images!

Redbud Portrait Photography follows clients to so many beautiful outdoor locations throughout the year. We’d love to chat and plan your session, whether you have a favorite location already in mind, or you’re looking for ideas and inspiration.

If you have a date in mind, check our booking calendar and grab your spot if it’s available! $100 is due at time of booking to hold and guarantee your selected date and time. The balance of the $375 session fee is due by the date of your session.

Each standard Outdoor Portrait Session lasts 60-minutes and includes two sharing-optimized digital images you can share in an email or online on social media. You’ll get an image proofing gallery to review your session images, and from your hour-long session, you should have at least 40-50 images.

The Portrait Session does not include any print products or high-resolution digital images for printing. These are available for purchase after you have reviewed your image proofs. We offer print products a la carte and we also have packages put together of our client’s favorite items priced to save you money. From albums to wall art, photo prints to cards like party invitations and thank you’s, ornaments to calendars, we have a wide selection of print products that we love as much as our clients do.
